Claire joined NZIER in February 2009 after two years as an education policy analyst for UNESCO in Senegal. She is part of the team that produces NZIER’s Quarterly Predictions and Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion and has a strong interest in quantitative analysis and econometric modelling. Claire is able to apply these quantitative skills to various economic issues, from households’ behaviours and decisions to labour market regulation, and enjoys using empirical methods to assess economic theories and evaluate the impacts of policy changes.

Claire completed a Master of Arts in Economics from the Paris School of Economics. She also has a Diploma in Statistics and Economics from the Paris School of Statistics, Economics and Finance, specialising in macroeconomics and development economics.
