Jagadish joined the Institute in 2007, after retiring from the Ministry of Transport as Chief Economic Adviser. Previously he was Chief Economic Adviser of the Land Transport Safety Authority. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Transport Economics and related areas. Jagadish has over 35 years of experience as an economist and a statistician, specialising in economic evaluation and analysis (particularly in Transport Economics areas), strategy development and project supervision and management. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics (including Transport Economics at honours level) and worked as a consultant to private and public sectors and the World Bank. He is an Editorial Advisory Board member of Accident Analysis and Prevention, a leading international journal, and a member of the Transport Economics Committee of the Transportation Research Board, USA. |
